You know how we run a little home daycare? They all know I scrapbook and am always taking photos. I show the kids my pages all the time (if they are about them anyway). I think I've corrupted our oldest (just turned 6) into the scrap world. She's had a loose tooth for two weeks. Today it was hanging by a thread but I didn't want to yank it without asking her parents since there must have been some reason they left it in this morning right?
Well all day J was super brave and kept saying "come on, just pull my tooth out and take my picture!" It was even bleeding and she wasn't bothered...well her Mom comes to pick her up and I mention her tooth and she bursts into emotional tears. We all went "what's wrong?! You've been brave all day hun!" She goes "I'm not crying about my tooth! It doesn't hurt! I'm crying because I am the first daycare kid to lose a tooth and Karen can't scrap the page if my tooth stays stuck!!" LOL!!! We all burst out laughing. Her Mom promised to pull it out as soon as they got home and we could take a pic in the morning. lol. love that kid.
Oh and my little cousin Abby comes here too. The other day she was on the front page of the local paper. She was so excited to show all of us and I asked if she had a spare copy we could have. She goes to the van, brings two back, and says "the extra one is so you can scrap me." Do these kids know me or what? LOL!
