Well, I managed to ignore my kids for a little while yesterday to work on this stuff. But while I was ignoring them, THIS happened:
Jordan had asked me if they could "face paint". I wanted them out of my hair, so I said yes. But when she couldn't find the face paint kit, she took out the finger paint and then created this mess of Natalie. Natalie is doing her "superhero" pose here ... she thought she was a badass. Ugh. I put her in the shower shortly after taking this picture. She paid me a visit in my craft corner, which is where I took this picture.
Anyhow, I did manage to get some creative work done, despite the MANY interruptions. (and I'm ignoring my kids now to post this, Tuesday can't come soon enough!!)
MIL's birthday is tomorrow, she's turning 80. I didn't think she'd want a card with a big 80 on it, so I went with this design instead.
And I made this Valentine's card for Rich, even though I know I won't get a card or candy from him. He's so not into the "Hallmark holidays"
Then I stayed up late to finish this layout that I started planning for two days ago. I am very pleased with it ... except the page on the right is a little shorter than the other. I accidentally trimmed part of the top when I was trying to just even the pictures that were hanging off the edges. Ugh. Took me forever to get the leaf journaling right ... again, I cut it on the cricut after I printed it on the cardstock. Went through several cuts until it was good enough. Edged the leaf in brown ink, looks cool in person.

AWESOME lo, Gwen...honestly, my fav one I've ever seen of yours (and yhey're all good!).
I think a good idea to go with a flower instead of the big 80.
Oh yeah, and too funny about the "face" paint.
That leaf page could be published. Wowee!! Such a cool design!!!!!!!! Love the "love" on the card popped up like that.
and oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!! I actually said that out loud when I saw the pic of Natalie!!! HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH.MY.GOSH. What a mess!!!!!!
I LOVE the leaf page! I really like how the photos are connected through the 2 pages, and the dots on the i's are way too cute.
What a mess! That must've been fun cleanin up, haha! But at least you got some scrapping done! The LO's are very eye-catching and clean looking. You did a great job with those and the cards!

I agree, that two pager is my new fave of yours!! How awesome!! And some amazing pics in there. It's really stunning!!!
Great card too. And I don't think there's ANY way a pic like that would happen in my house. Paints, crayons, anything messy is put WAAAAAY up high and supervision is required at all times. That would FREAK me out!!! LOL

LOVE the "LOVE" card! What a cute idea!
The Leaf Diving LO is perfect! Love the title too!
