Anyone interested in a die cut or "inchie or twinchie" swap?

I saw online today a thing called an inchie swap. It's where you cut chipboard to one inch or in the case of a twinchie swap, two inches, and then decorate it in various ways. Then you swap them with other participants so you end up with varied little chipboard accents. We could do the same thing with diecuts from our cricut too. We could pick categories and then participants could sign up for a category and make a set number of cuts from that category. Or we could do it by cartridge..something like that. WE could have the diecuts be a set size or something like that. Just thinking out loud here. We could mail them all to one person along with SSSE and then that person would mail different things to each participant. Just thinking out loud, but thought it'd be fun. Similar to card swap only with die cuts or those inchie/twinchie things. Smile Thoughts???

that sounds really neat! I know I can't do it, because I can't even get my MIL's birthday card made in time. just can't afford something else on my plate. but I really love the idea, and hope that there's interest here to do this. I'd love to see what everyone comes up with.

Not sure what people do with the inchies and twinchies. I have heard of them from the cricut boards...do you just use them as accents on LOs and cards? Anywho, I would probably have more use for the die cuts, especially from carts I don't have. Again, like Gwen said, not sure if I would have time...but cutting a few things out on the cricut would be less time consuming than making inchies, it seems.

Yeah, you would use them as accents. I'll see if anyone else is interested...I definitely think a die cut swap, particularly centered around a theme, would be fun.

Definitely! And with different papers, there's so much that can be done. When you get back from your trip, will you start a sign up for this? I can ping the absent members on FB to see if we can get life back into this board yet. Wink

I might participate, although this is all so new to me that I'm a little clueless.
