My friend Carole lost her baby boy yesterday. He was born still, and my heart breaks for her.
I'm making her a card. I'm using wings on it, I wanted to go with the angel theme, as she already views him as an angel.
I found this poem online, do you think it's appropriate for the card?
When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometime question
the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with
the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world,
seem wonderful and mild
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to his fold,
So He picks a rosebud,
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few
To make the land of Heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs,
we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find.
That made me cry Gwen. I don't know if everyone will feel this way but I think it is appropriate and she may find some comfort from it. I said a little prayer for her and the rest of their family.

Mommy to Noah and Bella
thanks girls. I started the card - I have the poem and I am putting angel wings on the front. I will take a picture, but probably won't post it until after she gets it.
I'm so very sorry for your friend. I think the sentiment of the card is lovely and I hope she can be comforted.
