I remember someone said they ordered prints from artscow a week or two ago (too lazy to go back and look)
Has anyone ordered/ received the free 8X8 book yet? I am going to start making mine soon and wanted to see if anyone else has received their's... if so, what are your thoughts on the quality?
I have ordered 5x7 prints from them and am very happy with the quality. They had a deal going recently that you could get 3 free 8x8 books if you got them done in a certain time frame, which thankfully I was able to take advantage of. They say the books have been shipped so I am nxiously awaiting their arrival. Many people on thier forum are raving about how nice they are and the great quality.
That deal was going on through yesterday. I so wanted to participate, but I didn't get around to startng until last night and I had to upload a bunch of photos... still hasn't happened yet.
yes I got mine!!! Since the time I ordered there were no backgrounds or colors available yet I just did full pages using one photo (a photo book for the boy I nanny)...so some are just the TINIEST bit grainy but I do mean tiny and that was probably my camera anyway lol. Most of the pages were perfect. I was astonished how perfect the covers came out! The whole front cover was a photo of him and I and the whole back cover was my fave photo of him..it's a proper book ...And even though it was free they took super great care in mailing it...in a photo bag and inside the book is preserved in foam. Even my husband got teary looking through it and is really eager to get his family one in a couple days. I gave it to Ryan's family yesterday at his birthday party and no one would put it down . I was like a walking advertisement for artscow yesterday giving out their info and reviews. LOL
I just remembered I took a few photos of it! Now, they are further away and don't show detail because they are to use for their online review (in which you get ten dollars to review with 3 photos of the finished product)...obviously I didnt want closeups of him on there...but here is a slight idea anyway. Now remember these are photos of photos so it looks better in person
That does look pretty good! TFS!
Darn, I wish I had participated! The book looks great.

My mom did hers and she said it was great. Mine is on the way!
I have a problem with their deadlines though. When it says something ends on 6/27...they mean in HONG HONG, not here. I've had to email them and request they allow me to do whatever it is I wanted because the computer ended the deal too soon. They did without question...but it was annoying.
