When I took Brandon's one month old pictures, I decided to capture his feet and hands. (Thank you Ashley for the feet idea with the rings!) I also wanted to capture his blue eyes just in case they turn a different color. I'm not in love with the second page (because of the angle of the picture - his nose looks HUGE!! - that's what happens when you take the picture while holding him... i will try to take a different picture of his eyes to replace that one - my eyes just focus right on his nose (or maybe it's because I'm so self-conscious of my own?!) I don't know... anyways....
Do you think I should make the first page more black and white (i didn't get rid of all of the color when I was playing around with it)... i still want to keep the rings in color.. but not sure if I want the rest all black and white or leave it as it is.... what do you think?? Maybe I'll post a picture to see what it would look like...without further ado..
I actually changed the first one by adding more color (rather than making it more black and white)... and I also added a vignette as well... what do you think? Do you like this one better?

Wow!! I love them both just like they are. Very sweet!

I love them. I don't see a problem with the color n that first one and I didn't focus on his nose in the second until you said soemthing about it
I had ring pictures taken like that with Andrea, but they were professional so I can't digitally scrap them. I've asked the photographer to make me some pages, but she still hasn't done it.
I love the updatd version better. It's softer and just soooo beautiful!! I love the Angel Eyes page too. Like the selective coloring, as it really brings the focus on his eyes....the subject of the layout.

Wow...those are breathtaking! I think the second version of the first one is the better of the two. But I do think the first version of it is beautiful too!
Ooh - definitely like the second one better. I like that it is brighter and the vignette is really nice.
Beautiful pages! I like the second update as well.
I think Brandon's eyes are definitely the focus of that page. No worries about his nose! Or if you are worried, how about a smaller sliver of the picture? So it would be long and skinny?

I like the more colored version better, and think it's an awesome layout!!!
the second one is nice too, and I wouldn't have noticed his nose if you hadn't said that ... but since you did, I really did notice his nose. it's going to bug you until you take a new picture, I can tell from how you wrote about it.
