With my dwindling time I have decided that I am giving up paper scrapbooking! However, with my new laptop I would love to take up digiscrapping! Any suggestions?? I have never done it before so it will all be new to me. Bonus, I am selling all of my embellishments on e-Bay to help fund my new addiction
Atleast you're not leaving the scrapbooking world for good! I bet you'll have lots of fun learning digi-scrapping! Can't wait to see what you come up with. what kind of embellishments are you selling?

Just about everything! I will post a link when I get the stuff on, it really is too much to even think of!
Wow, that is a big jump. I love digital scrapbooking, but maybe you want to hold on to the stuff until you know that you like digital?!?
Let's see. Suggestions are to go to the stickied thread and bookmark all the sites that have freebies. Register at each site to have them send you announcements of new freebies and so you can download their stuff. What program are you going to use?
That's quite the leap ... but understandable given Kaden (and the new laptop you have )
But I like doing digi pages, they're fun. I just prefer the hands on paper.
When I'm on my laptop again, I'll send you the link (I posted it back in Dec) of this awesome site that tracks blog freebies for download. You'll get GREAT stuff for digi pages with that.
What software will you use? Saw your editing question on the photographhy board, will you just use the same program for both?

Before you get rid of all your embellishments, you might think about hybrid scrapping. That is when you make digital pages and then once you have them printed you add a button, flower, letters, etc.... I do this and actually really love it. I, like you, don't have the time to paper scrap but adding some embellishments still gives me that hands-on thrill.
I love Shelly's idea!!
I am listing the stuff now so at this point there is no turning back! I decided even if I hate digi then I just have the put in photobooks and maybe some how jazz them up
