    Default big polka dots

I did a page tonight with big polka dots. I don't think I like working with them. I don't know why, but I am not fond of the page I did. I kept going, hoping something would make it better, but I never found anything. I will upload the page in a bit, but I wanted to see if any of you have done pages with big polka dots and share them with me so I can get a good idea of what I CAN do with them. Thanks so much! I really enjoy this board btw!

Alright...here it is. I am not fond of it. Kind of weird how I don't like it, but oh well. I know he will! BTW...the blue behind it all isn't part of the page.

hmmmm... not sure if the background is too distracting or not (the polka dots...) am i allowed to say that?! maybe having a polka dot border would be less distracting... very cute pictures and frames though! and i like the dots at the bottom

That is pretty much what I was thinking as well. I was tired of just using plain backgrounds, so I was going to give it a shot. Oh well. I was thinking the same thing. Of course you are allowed to say that. I just wanted to try something new, and it didn't turn out great, but I find a better way! THANKS!

I see what you mean, but it is still cute. Maybe another solid under your tags on the bottom left might break it up a little. This is not my strong point though. I think it is really cute and am only giving a suggestion because it seemed like you would like one. It is a nice page.

I thought about putting a solid underneath a few pics, but I couldn't find one I liked. I might try again and put something underneath those. Thanks for your comment too. That's why I love this board. You ladies are kind, and help me see what I can do to improve!

I agree with Stephanie. It's still a very cute page, though!

I would try a layering effect. I've got a page with lots of dots. Have the dots as the main, then maybe 1/2 the page be in the rusty color. I do have a dot page but it's at home. I'll take a pic tonight. It's not my favorite page either. It must be a "dot" thing.

But here is a couple of ideas with layering. It's what's on my computer already.

This is not my favorite either but gives you an idea of toning down the busy pattern. So that its not all dots. KWiM.

it's a nice page. the only thing i would do is put a thin border around each picture in the color of the dark part of the circle (can't tell if it's purple or brown), that way the pictures will stand out a little more from the background. great job though! and thanks for sharing!!
