Can I digi scrap with PSP 7?

I do not have Photoshop, but I do have Picasa and have used it for a long time.
If I want to digi scrap in PSP, how do I know what size to make the "blank" white square based on pixels? Like when you go to new document and select your size? Or do I just download "paper" and it will be the right size? Can you not do it in PSP? Just curious, TY!

you'd want to make the 'blank white square' into the size that you want it to end up... you can change it to inches/centimetres/pixels, etc... so if you want a 12x12 page, you can change it to 12 inches by 12 inches.. hope that makes sense!

*Most* papers will come 12x12 (or 3600px by 3600px) but some occasionally are smaller. Then just scale them up the right size before you start. HTH!

PSP is perfect for digi scrapping Smile yep, for your standard paper you can start with 3600px x 3600px @ 300ppi (12inx12in @ 300ppi). If you just open up a paper file in PSP it'll be the right size too since the industry standard is 12in x 12in 300ppi.

*IF* you do find some papers smaller than that, don't resize them to be bigger, that will distort the paper and compromise the quality. just scrap at that smaller size or use it for something other than a full background sheet. Its pretty rare though that you'll find a smaller paper though.
