Cartridge decision help!

I am totally wanting to decorate my kids' new bedrooms with my cricut. I have My Community which gives me plenty of stuff to cut for my boy, but nothing that has anything real girly for my girl. So DH has agreed we need to get a girly cart for this and for my future pages. I've looked a bit and am torn between Walk In My Garden and Storybook. Looks like Storybook you can only make the shapes one color. I am thinking I will do butterflies, flowers, not really sure what, but need some girly options for decorating. Anyone have any ideas or can tell me which of these two might work better or if there's an even better cart that might work. TIA

i have storybook, but honestly i dont even use it that much on my pages. i know i dont have a girl yet, but i dont think i will use it that much on her pages when she gets here. walk in my garden is actually next on my list to get because im doing the baby's side of the room (her and my son will share a room) in ladybugs, and i know that cart has ladybugs. so my vote is for walk in my garden Biggrin

Paisley would be fun to do a girls room in if you don't mind doing a lot of layering on the cuts. It has a dragonfly, ladybugs, cute turtles and frogs and stuff. I really like the cartridge A LOT.

Are you looking for butterflies and whimsy? Some of those new carts coming out would be perfect. So would Paisley, Storybook, Home Decor, Walk in my Garden, Etc. What specific type cuts are you looking for and that would help us narrow it down for you.

Ahhh how fun!! I would first decide exactly what bedding you're going to use, what color the walls will be, etc. Like Charys, let us know what you're looking for.

I second Walk in my Garden, the ladybugs and flowers are so fun. Paisley might be good, but a lot of layering could use up a lot of vinyl which could get to be expensive.

Carrie, I wanted to add, it's ok if they're not layered! The butterfly in our kitchen is only one (from Storybook) and it looks great!

I figured I'd wait on the bedding until we get the room done, is that silly??? LOL Her furniture is white with light pink and light blue accents so figured I'd do the walls in light pink and blue also and then add decor from there. Was thinking butterflies, flowers, etc. I think WIMG is what I'm going to get. I looked at Paisley, but for some reason like WIMG better. Not sure about the new ones Charys is talking about.

I LOVE Storybook. My sister has it and I love the font and other stuff. It's an all around good cart!

There is a new princess cart coming out that is super cute. I love WIMG though, I definitely get a lot of use out of that cart.
