Chandelier Update

Well, it looks like we won't be getting them. Sad Esther was really nice, but said that they had a designer specifically create those props for the show and they are property of Miss USA and wouldn't be given away or sold. I was given the email of the designer, but I'm not sure I'll email him. I don't want him to think I'm some crazy chica (ok I AM...shhhh) asking for his work. He was probably paid well to design those specifically for Miss USA, so I can't see him wanting to share his design with us. Wink I mean I could claim that we are scrapbooking addicts and must have those for our rooms, but don't know if that would go far. Wink

So, sorry no luck!

That means one of us will just have to design a HUGE chandlier like that and do it ourselves.

Sigh. Okay who's really good at drawing? we're getting some rubber foam and doing this for ourselves.

You know what my best friend did in HS? He was a pretty awsome artist but he couldn't draw big scale. So he drew a very cute design, copied it onto a transperency and took a projector and broadcast it onto the big paper so it was "big". And it turned out really cute. Anyone have a transparency projector?

You know, my DH has done the same thing with large welding projects!!! He may know where I can borrow a projector. Why couldn't we do this with a Cricut cut chandelier? Good thinking Erin!!

Hey, where's that picture? I can extract it from the picture and get the shape of them that way. Then you can print them out, enlarge them and make one yourself!

I have a smart board in my room at school. I'd say the boards about 4 ft by 6ft so i could make a pattern that big...
