I try to respond around here as much as I can and I feel like I am beginning to get to know you all (or at least recognize your names :)). Anyway, tomorrow I will be having a procedure done called a hysteroscopy (sp?) because my doctor is concerned that I might have some retained placenta (my daughter is 9 months). Basically, she will look at my uterus with a tiny camera. Anyway, I am really nervous about it and I could definitely use some prayers. Has anyone ever had this procedure done?
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, I was so nervous this morning, so it was greatly appreciated. I did great during the procedure. It was kinda funny, because DH and Madison came back with me to my room as I was getting prepped and Madison started to cry when the nurse put my IV in. It was as though she was saying, "Don't hurt my mommy!!!". Anyway, praise God, I did not have any retained placenta!!!!. This was a relief especially since I had placenta acreta when Madison was born. That being said, my doc did find a couple of small polyps near my tubes, but they weren't blocking anything. She went ahead and removed them and sent them off to the lab. She did say that she felt they were benign (another praise God!!!). I was concerned because both my mom and my grandma had uterine cancer, my mom at 21 and my grandma at 32. They both had to have a hysterectomy, so I was a little fearful of that because I want to have at least one more baby. Anyway, this is getting long so I'm going to go and rest some more. Thanks again.
