    Default Crappy day (XP, OT)

We had such a great week with selling the house and finding one so quickly and everything, and this morning the good part all came to a screeching halt. My grandma is in the hospital, she has suffered a massive stroke. She is paralyzed on the one side, but she is conscious and talking (albeit confused talking). They said there is one part of her brain with no activity, and they're waiting to see if she has another one. If you're the praying type, please say a little prayer for my grandma so she doesn't suffer. Or just send positive thoughts our way, pretty please!

(in other 'bad news', right after we had the call about grandma, our TV blew up - smoke and everything - and I broke my toe, again. I just want this day to be over!)

(ps - sorry to those reading this more than once!)

(pps - nothing on FB please, one of my cousins doesn't know yet, they can't get ahold of her, don't want her to find out that way!)

I ended up going to see her because the dr called the family in. She's not out of the woods yet, so to speak. It was really hard to see her that way, but I'm glad I did, in case I never get the chance to tell her I love her again. She is able to communicate though, which is a huge plus, and the clot moved 'downstream,' whatever that means. They said that the big thing with strokes is that swelling starts 24-48 hours after the stroke, and that's the dangerous part. Thank you for all the prayers, I really appreciate them!
