Cricut

For those that have one, which one do you have? What features doesn't it have that you wish it did? What is the big deal about the expressions? What can it do that others can't.

TIA Smile

I have the regular and I'm pretty happy with it. Sometimes I wish I could cut more off a page like the expression does, but I have no complaints.

I have the Expressions, the difference in price (on ebay) was so insignificant (I asked for it for my b-day and 2 of my Mom's split the price), I just said what the heck, might as well get the big one! LOL I have no clue besides the size cutting ability that it will cut between the Machine & Expressions. Regardless, I'm having a blast using my Cricut.

Here's where Charys needs to step in and break down, open the box and use the Expressions so you could really fully answer this question! LMAO! Do it, do it, do it!

size wise the regular cuts on a 6x12 mat, the expression you can do up to 12x24 mat. not sure otherwise. I got the regular b/c I couldn't justify paying for the expression...for what I do, it does the job.

Ugh, she didn't end up coming tonight. But she said she will tomorrow with her daughter, so we can all scrap. I can't wait.

Back to the main subject, I got the regular one because of money and space limitations. If I was to do it over, I would buy the new Cricut machine Michael's sells, because you can cut letters as small as 1/4 inch, which would be awesome for journaling, cards, etc.

I agree...if I had the option back when I bought it, I would get the new one, because 1" letters are sometimes too big, especially for cards.

Yes, it's called the Cricut Create and is sold exclusively at Michael's right now. The Cricut website is having a promotion that if you buy the Cricut Create and Cricut Jukebox (which allows you to plus I believe up to 8 carts into a machine, so you don't have to keep switching carts out) at the same time, they give you a free cartridge. What I've read on it, it sounds really cool! I REALLY like the idea of smaller cut capabilities.
