I don't know if it is as cool as it looks, but I definitely have been drooling over it every time I am at WalMart! It's not in our budget right now for sure (it was around the same as your sale price...I don't remember their price to the dollar, but I was thinking of it as being around $50). Maybe DH will notice the fact that I am seriously in need of a bib when I look at it and get it for me for Christmas! *fingers crossed* - hee hee!
download the trial version and try it first. it's pretty buggy from what my neighbor tells me, but it's cool at the same time. I used the trial version (you can use it with the carts your Cricut came with - George for the regular one) with my USB cable, and didn't find it hard to use at all. in fact, now that I know it's on sale (I deleted the email from Custom Crops without reading it because I'm not in a SB mode right now), I might go buy it so I can use it with all of my carts.

I decided against it, at least this time around because I just shelled out my entire paycheck to settle a credit card debt. I've got to take a few hundred out of savings just to survive the next two weeks between food gas and babysitting. So hopefully next time around, of course, my birthday is coming up. I should remind my DH of that when it comes....
That's a really smart and sensible choice. It'll make getting it all the sweeter when you finally have the money, because you'll know you REALLY want it, and you'll "earn" it instead of just wracking up debt. Plus, maybe you'll find a sale for it cheaper later.
