I am working on Kayley's birthday invitations and I am beyond frustrated! I am using the Tinkerbell and Friends cart. I have tried to cut the face/arms for this Tink and the paper keeps riping! Here is an example:
I have tried setting the blade at different settings and it makes no difference. What am I doing wrong??
I agree with the speed. I tried to cut guitars from Hannah montana cart and it ripped everytime.
I tried a new mat, different paper, blade depth, and the speed was what did it for me. Try the slowest speed. I will let you know, that I have one color of paper, not sure or the brand, but it doesn't cut well at all, it rips everytime, not matter what I do. Good luck. I hope you can get it to work better.
Check too to see if anything is stuck on blade. I agree to slow speed down and up the pressure. Sometimes though, mine works better at faster speed. GL girl!!

Thanks for all the tips ladies! I really appreciate it! I am getting down to the wire and need to get these done so I can get them mailed out!!! I will post some pics of them once they are done!
the other thing I can think of is that sometimes those complicated cuts just don't do well no matter what you try unless they are bigger. so it might depend on what size you are trying to cut, too. hope the other tricks work, though, since changing the size would throw off the invitation I am sure.
