    Default Cricut Mats

I'm determined not to have to buy another mat! LOL! I've cut sooo much with it (over 75 cards, tons of layouts, etc.) and I've been using wipies to clean it. Well, I think it's sticky is permanently gone, so I've been taping the edges of the paper down onto the mat and it's working perfectly! I stick a couple 1-inch pieces of tape onto the paper and I'll be using it for a long time.
    Just wanted to share!

On a totally different topic, I had my 10 swap cards on the kitchen table last night ready to take pics of, and came in here on the computer to upload those layout pics. Anyways, I go back in there and Kayson had destroyed all but 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!! It's my fault for leaving him unattended. Lesson learned: Toddlers find scrapbooking as irresistible as we do...only in a different manner. Sigh.

I was able to salvage the jewels and embellishments, but that totally ruined my card making mood for atleast the next couple days. I will probably ditch that idea and start fresh. Oh well.

Sorry to hear about your cards. That stinks.

I have thought about using tape. I just never have. I'll have to give it a try. TFS!

I'll have to try the tape for the Cricut Mats. I ordered about a month ago, a set of 6 mats along w/ a pack of new blades for $30. I needed to replace my other mat, it was bad. LOL

    I'm sorry about the cards.

Oh my goodness! That is the worst - about the card destroying! I can totally empathize with that feeling and not wanting to fix them anytime soon.

You have to try the vellum spray for your cricut mat it makes your mat new again. It is sold in a can for vellum adhesive but I have used it on the cricut mat and it is good for about another month. Then when it runs out of sticky just spray again. SO nice to have you should really try it!!
