    Default cricut price question

    hello ladies....

i was online pricing cricuts tonight (dh wants to know the price of them b4 we start talking when i can get one).....

and the price that i keep finding is between $250-$285 which includes:

cricut expression machine (and everything else)
    and 2 cartridges
    and shipping

from your experience is that a relatively good deal?

or do u think michaels or acmoore or somewhere else would be better?

    thanks for any help

Did you find that on ebay? That sounds like a really great price! I haven't found the Expressions for any cheaper! COSTCO is selling it for $340!

Are you wanting the Expressions, or would you be fine with the regular one? Just curious b/c the regular one is much cheaper!

if you buy the big one, make sure you have room for it. I think it needs 2 feet BEHIND it for when it's feeding the paper. but I could be wrong. the small one is supposed to have a foot of extra space behind it. I would LOVE the Expression but I don't have the room for it. the "small" one (regular, cuts paper up to 6"x12") is great!

I love my small bug for that reason! The Expressions would be great, but there's no way I could fit it in my tiny house. We're already overrun with my scrapbooking stuff.

I think what you have found is a good deal.
I have the expressions, I paid 289 at walmart, the only downside is it came with 1 cartridge, plantin schoolhouse and they don't make a carrying case for it. And everyone else is right you need room. So far I've only used a 12x12 mat but when using a 12x24 you need the extra foot of room. I have 6 xtra features on my bug, not sure if the lil one has them or not. If I had known the one I bought didn't have the accent cart I would have bought online at acmoore. It comes with 4 carts..plantin schoolbook, accent essentials, stretch your imagination and paper pups, mat, 5 markers... for only 379.99.
I paid 289for the cricut and then I bought 2 carts at 59.99, so I spent 407. I should have gone with acmoore, lol. But its up to you I also didn't want to wait for shipping, I wanted it right then.

i was thinking the expressions but now i'm not sure.... are most of you getting by with the bug? is it really worth to buy the much bigger one? Right now we are in an apt but are looking to buy a house within a year. DH and i plan to have an office where my scrapbooking things will be as well. what do u all think?

I use my "little" one every time I scrapbook, and it's perfect for me.
