    Default Cricut "SNIPPETS" challenge

If you're like me, you have extra letters you've cut from your Cricut. Maybe you cut the wrong size, or the color didn't look right, or you just plain have extra letters. And what about the circles from the insides of letters - lots of them too, right?

Here's my challenge - save your Cricut "scraps" over the next few weeks. Then the challenge is to do something totally different with those letters in a layout. What you do is up to you. But that's the challenge.

I've been giving my extras to my kids, but I'm saving them now for this challenge.

Sign up here if you're interested - I'll start a thread when the challenge is ON. Save your letters and "holes" now.

(This isn't a prize challenge, but I think it would be neat to vote on the coolest layout produced with this challenge).

That sounds good! I came across some "scraps" while cleaning and I couldn't find it in me to throw them out

I really like this idea! Almost every image cut I make I cut 2 of, so I have a little ziplock full of extras.

is it just a dumb idea?

anyhow, here's the pile I have ... but this has been an ongoing collection for a little while, as I let my kids use my snippets sometimes.

wow, you have a lot Gwen! And no, it's not a dumb idea. Infact when you posted this I didn't want to say it but I use "snippets" in just about every layout or card I do. LOL I'm a stickler for not throwing away anything and spend way too much time figuring out how I could use such and such that I made extra of. But I have an idea for this that hopefully turns out good. I just haven't been in a scrapbooking mood since the crop. I don't know why, but I've loved making cards, just NO mojo for layouts.

I do NOT think this is a dumb idea. I wish I would have saved some from the last few I did, but I didn't. Maybe, just maybe I'll get a chance to scrap some before this one is on.
