Cricut + Vinyl

I was just flipping through channels while trying to get the baby I watch to sleep. There was in infomercial about the Cricut so I watched it to really see how this thing works (the guys voice lulled Jackson to sleep, too! It was great Biggrin )

Anyways. Have any of you Cricut owners tried cutting Vinyl to create quotes for your walls??
If I get the Cricut I know I would be OBSESSED with doing that!!!! So if you've tried it can you show us some pics!? And...where do you find packages of Vinyl paper?

I have never tried vinyl, but can't wait to! You can find the vinyl for pretty cheap at a local sign shop, or you can buy it at Home Depot/Lowe's. Here are a couple wall projects I was looking at. I found another one I was really impressed with, but lost the link. I want to put a quote up in Kayson's room and one in our kitchen.

I was watching that infomercial the other day. It seems like a great idea. I just need a quote that I want to see everyday.

Linda! Yes you could! They're removable!

Yeah, a lot of the girls on the Cricut board buy something called "wall pop" or something like that that is completely removable. You need to be careful about the vinyl though. I worked in a sign shop and that stuff is TOUGH. It would probably rip the paint off if left on for a period of time. But as long as you buy the removable stuff, you'll be safe.
