Current Projects (and my no-sew tutu!)

It's been a busy week, weird with the holiday in the middle of it. I've only done 2 pages this week, the rest are ones I did awhile ago and can finally post now.

This one was nominated LOTW at Gingerscraps, against Carrie's punkin patch one (I voted for her Smile )

This one I'm posting a day early, shhhhh, don't tell

This one is going back to when K was only 2 weeks old, I love this photo!

And these are all the ones I did back in Sept.

My thoughts on turning 30...

Another old one of K - hours old Smile

And our trip to the Zoo last year.

And here is my no-sew tutu, I worked on it today! This one is a gift, Kaitlyn's will have pink instead of blue. The girl I made it for is 9 days younger than K and her mommy doesn't (ever) put her in pink. Of course, I had to have it modeled. Smile It's a lot 'fluffier' than I figured, but I love how it turned out. I got enough freakin tulle to make double what I need though! lol

Hmmmm... where else can I put this?

Okay, I'm so inspired by your 30th layout that it makes me want to find pictures of myself at different ages, and actually make a page chronicling me growing to 30 (which I'll hit next June).

I want one of those tutus!!! Do you just get that tulle from Walmart??? If so, where at, by the fabric?? I remember Linda posting the instructions and it didn't seem hard. We're celebrating Kiki's birthday next weekend, and I would LOVE for her to have one of these. Smile Beckie, you can make one for her. Smile LOL JK

Your LOs are smashing girl. I love them all, but the pretty in pink, the turning 30, and the hours old ones are my faves. They are all just so good. And I really dig that tutu...your friend's daughter will love it I'm sure. TFS girl!

Yes, the tulle was from Wal Mart - $1.17 a yard. I used about 3 yards (I bought 6). It is super easy, once you get the hang of it. Also, the ribbon I used was too thin, if I did it again I'd use 1.5" ribbon (I used 7/8ths). I also learned that I have an absolute inability to cut straight. LOL

Here are the instructions on how to do it:

And that tutu is adorable. I may have to make a few for my girls. they would love them.

I'd have to actually get my parents to fork over copies of the pictures if I'm going to scrapbook. LOL

terrific pages!!! I really love that first one, it's beautiful! and it's neat seeing almost a Kaitlyn timeline in these pages, from hours old to modeling the tutu. which, btw, came out awesome!
