Wondering if I should put this in the summer challenge ... it sure felt like summer that day, but it was in April.
I downloaded the Cricut Design Studio trial version and created the "a day at the zoo" with the George cartridge - I used the brown marker first then cut it. The elephant above is from the zooballoo cart using the card option - so cool!
We picked a beautiful day to go to the zoo with Ellie, Audrey, Maggie and their mom Lisa. Andrew was in school, so he missed the fun. Of course, the parking lots were full, so we lost about an hour looking for a place to park and then walking from said parking spot into the zoo. But the girls really had a good time while we were there. We had a picnic lunch on a bench near the elephants. And Natalie didn’t like the hippo at all, considering the stinky poop that it produced while we watched. Yuck! We did manage to see the pandas before having to take off to get home before Andrew’s bus arrived. It was a jam packed zoo visit, and a fun way to spend the day.

That counts in my book for the summer challenge!!! It's awesome! The card feature looks pretty cool...I like the effect.
I had that same animal paper and was saving it for a zoo page too, but while I was babysitting a girl, she got it out and started cutting in in pieces. I have a tiny strip left, but I'm saving it for K's first trip to the zoo.

I LOVE that animal paper! The LO is just too cute. The title is really super cute too.
What a great page!! I'll have to use that same idea w/ the zooballoo cart and the way you used the elephant card! Nice job Momma!
