Hey gals! I haven't really been around here for awhile. I go through phases. One month it's this or one month it's that. I am sorta scrapping right now. Trying to start my baby's 1st year scrapbook before I forget it all. I am doing it digital since I STILL don't have my scrapping desk set up DH promised me this summer though and we've already got a plan to fix up the office and it will include lots of storage for things like my hobbies. (let's just hope DH doesn't back out of it this time! again...) Anyway... DH got me a photo printer/copier/scanner it also prints just regular papers too. It's great! I am loving printing out my own photos at home! I'm in full control so now I don't have to worry about printing them at the lab and I've had problems with that before. Now. the largest size I can print is 8x10. Does anyone here print 8x10 pages? I was actually thinking of doing a 4x6 1-12 month mini scrapbook by printing all my photos and just putting them in a small photo album. I've already got my first page done. I'll share.
I didn't want to write in "breastfeeding" so I wrote eating because well, when he reads it as an adult I don't want him getting all weirded out by it. Ya know how kids are! lol What do you think?
So I guess I'm just wondering what size everyone usually prints? Does anyone here do 8x10's? I'll be lurking and trying to post every now and then but I do apologize if i'm not always here. so sorry!
oh and this is a freebie I got! It's a really cute kit! I am loving it! And its a freebie! hehe here is the link so I can give credit.
Oh my that is precious! I love the journaling! When I did print a digi page, I printed as a 12x12, but that's b/c that's all I have ever scrapped in. I think you did a great job, and I am looking forward to seeing more posts!

I scrap mostly 8.5x11 so 8x10 is very similar. I have done many 8x10's for picture frames as gifts. But I'm not a digital girl, so I'm not much help. But your layout is so darling!! I love it! I think the small 4x6 little book would be fun. I've done about 6 or so 4x6 mini-albums and they turned out cute. (but again, I'm a paper scrapper.)

I scrap 8.5x11 and have mine printed at a local print shop when I want them in hand (I'm saving LOs for a printed book). But she can't full bleed to the edges, so it's on an 8.5x11 page with a white border.
The cool thing about the photo printer is that you can print right to the edges. So I say go for the size your printer can use! If need be, you could cut/buy some scrap paper in 8.5x11 to use as a matt for your printed pages. But I think they would be fine without.
And thanks for the link!

glad you're back! I remember all of your printing woes with the labs so that's great you got a good printer. all of my pages are 12x12 so I don't have any printed 8x10. but there's nothing wrong with using that size if you have a book for it.
can you say "nursing" like a pro? I don't think that's something that a kid would get eeked out about. it's very natural.

OH nursing! totally forgot about that one! thanks.. i'll see if i can change it.
i was thinking maybe i'll print out my pages in 8x10 and then plop them on some colored matte paper that is 12x12 cuz i have lots of that. i could also just print out picture and do some paper scrapbooking which I will later on once my stuff is all organized. its just a pain in the butt getting everything out right now and then putting it back into the box that its in.
i LOVE that kit. your LO is great.
i did an 8x10 book for my moms birthday. it was easier to have it printed in short notice that way because i decided to do it so late lol. it came out just fine.
idk how a 4x6 book would look. it might be too small to be able to really read some journaling. JMO.
