Default Digital Freebies (a short blog train)

There is a blog train going on right now with a cute kit. The theme is "sisterly love". Here is a link to one of the blogs: http://audraslittlescraps.blogspot.com/

The train is ending either tonight or tomorrow though, so you have to hurry if you want it.

Ok, so i downloaded a couple of kits.. this is my first time doing it... when I went into photoshop elements to use it it said it "was the wrong type of file".... ok... so maybe it needs to be unzipped?? How do I do that? I saved the file to my external hard drive... and we just got Vista the other day..... HELP!!

    Thanks for the link!!

LindieLu.......I save all of my downloads onto an external drive also. Before I start scrapping I go into my external drive and make sure that all of my new downloads are unzipped. When you go into your folder where you saved your download it should be a zipped file. You can just double click it and it will allow you to unzip it and Extract the files. It will also then ask you where you want to save it. Hope that helps........I am not an expert by any means however since I just started doing this myself not too long ago

I got it! yay! I'm not famililar with Windows vista and the file had no indication that it was a zipped file (but i knew it was because when i downloaded it, that's that it said)... I had no idea that "extract" meant the same thing as "unzip"! Who knew! Thank you ladies!

    Thanks for the link!

Just wanted to give you a tip - if you're unzipping a whole bunch of files at once, try "Unzip them all" - google it - it's a free program that will unzip more than one file at a time, a real time saver!
