    Default Digital Scrapbooking

I've been lurking and I've noticed some of you do the digital scrap booking and I wonder if you could possibly let me know a good way to get started with that..

    What program do you use?

I LOVE scrap booking but I haven't been motivated and we recently turned the office into the baby room so...

    Thank you!

Hi, and welcome to the board! If you look at the top of the board you'll see a thread called 'Welcome to the Scrapbooking board'. Scroll down a bit on the first post and you'll see everything you need to know about digital scrapbooking. You need a good graphics program - many of us here use Photoshop Elements or Photoshop. Elements is a great place to start as it's way cheaper (and you can do everything you need to start off using it!). There are also free programs like GIMP, I think we have a couple members that use that too.

Next all you need is digital photos, and a digital elements kit - you can get free ones on the 'net to help you get started. In the thread mentioned above there are all sorts of links where you can find free ones. You can also buy them too, but to start just download some free ones to see if you like it. Once you have your program, pictures and kti, just google a tutorial for doing your first page with that program and you're on your way! We can all help you too!

Is there anything more specific you wanted to know?
