digital scrapbooking software

Lurker...

I really want to start digital scrapbooking, but I have no idea where to start with software. Any tips on the best software to use? Thanks so much!!

An easy one to start with would be Hewlett Packard's Creative Scrapbook Assistant. It is a great way to begin and costs less than $20. I know one of the girls found it for $15 I think on Ebay.

I wrote an introduction to digi-scrap on a post...I'll find it and bump it for you! Biggrin Good luck!

Hi Karen! Good to see you here.

I really like Microsoft Digital image pro. It doesn't come with a lot of art though, but whatever program you choose, we can tell you where to get a ton of free downloads. Smile

Maria, I hope you find that post, it had great info. I will sticky it if we find it.

I use Paint shop pro 11. It runs about $90 but it is a graphics software and can be used for much more than digital scrapping. You can get one version down (10) for around $25 and it is really good too.

I started of with Gimp which is a free program you can download on the net. Then, as I learned the basics, I moved to Photoshop and now do everything there. The Gimp is a good beginner program, though, that has a lot of neat features especially for being free!
