OK...well, I am trying to make the pages for our profile book to be shown to birthmothers considering us for their children. I am doing a 2 page spread on both of us prior to marriage. What do you think of these pages for DH? Please tell me if you would do anything different or add anything!! I am really open to change on this!

I'll have to reopen this at home. Here at work, it is not showing me the layouts.

    i'll post later.

I think it's beautiful! I especially like the quote on the right. So perfect. I can't think of anything I would change.

It is beautiful. I love the colors you chose. The layout is spectacular. You have a nice variety of apropriate photos and the journaling is wonderful.

I think the layout is great, I'm just wondering if there will be information elsewhere about where he grew up, etc. I was just trying to think about what someone would want to know, but I've never seen one of these books, so do they even want to know little details?

Yeah...there is a page that gives general statistics and then we have to write a "Dear Birthparent" letter that will go over some of those things as well. Another spread I am including is one of his family where I thought I might include some of that info too.

You brought up a point I was struggling with...Part of me wants to add the "details" about Mark, but I kind of like that it is just a general introduction to him. Do you think it's OK to do this or should I rearrange it and add the stats?

Ok, I reopened and it worked this time (not sure why the first time).

I think it's perfect, especially as an intro to who your dh is as a person, it's pictures of him growing up. I also love how you have his baby pic and his current pic next to each other so to speak. I don't know why but love it!!!!

If there is another page that you are doing to show the statistics, I would have those pages first and then follow with these pages, to show as an intro to make it more personalized.

does that make any sense what so ever?

Anyways, not that I have babbled -- leave it and don't change a thing, create a stats page as the first set of info and then go into these pages. That's my take, but it might not necessarily be the right one. KWIM.

As long as there is another place with that info, I think the pages you have here should not be changed at all. They really are fabulous!

Chiming in late, but I think it's a great way to introduce Mark to a potential birth mother. My fingers are crossed for you guys!
