Dollhouse pics pic heavy

Here are some pics of the UNFINISHED dollhouse I made. This is my mil's basement not mine so don't mind the mess. I did this 4 years ago so it has been sitting for a long time. It used to have pretty furniture but Jazz got into it all and most of it broke. I am finally thinking of finishing it since I no longer like how it looks. I will post pics as I add to it.

There used to be a staircase at the bottom but it broke.

I wouldn't even know where/how to begin a dollhouse. Wow, that's really cute! I love the front doors with the oval windows. Smile

wow Smile totally cool! I'd sooo work on that if i was you! lol but i'm itching for a dollhouse.. haha did you make that out of a kit or from scratch? We want to make one from scratch (unless we find a decent kit around here that doesn't cost so much money). But it will have to wait til next summer. I need to save up money for all the windows and doors and such Biggrin thanks for sharing Tia!

I just bought 7 pieces of dollhouse furniture from ebay for only 8 dollars. Blum 3 and i'm reading and watching videos on how to make my own dollhouse food. lol It's so cool! I can't wait to get started.

Okay well it all came in what I thought was a kit but there was like 1000's of pieces! nothing was put together at all so it was really from scratch. On the tower thing every piece is seperate! I had to add the shingles one at a time and to make it worse it was a Christmas present that I bought only 2 weeks before. I worked on it day and night for 2 weeks! Then after Christmas Jazz and I worked on the inside.

I've seen those kits online. And a video of one being put together. It does take a long time! And its almost from scratch Smile you have every piece cut out and instructions on how to put it together. The one I want to make I have to go buy the wood and cut it either myself or have it cut for me by someone else lol

Does Jazz still like the dollhouse? Why isn't it at your house? Smile just wonderin!

yes she still likes it. She wants us to work on it again. It was at my mil's while we were living in the townhouse since we just did not have the room for it. Now that we moved into our new house, I forgot about it till your post lol so I guess I have to bring it here now. Thanks for reminding me Smile This kit gave me the wood but I had to cut it all myself. That was what took so long since I used a hand saw for almost all of it! I know better for next time. I wish I could have found one where it was all cut out for me it would have been much easier Smile

DH already said i could. lol This is why I have not made or posted any LO's on here lately.
