Beth thank you for posting this! As a teacher it is SOOO important to feel appreciated, esp at the end of the year. Unfortunately alot of families forget since its a busy time of year for them too, and we get left in the dust. I tell you, as a teacher, not only do we not get paid enough, but take care of the kids of the world...and we deserve a little card or treat at the end of the year Wink

I feel bad because i did not even think about doing something for my son's teacher for the end of school. I know I did Christmas but did not do anything for the end of the year. Now feel bad becuase they are out of school already so it is too late.

I love my husband. So on Thursday he went with me to town and I was trying to find a basket I could alter or some such and he says very reasonable to me "You KNOW Mrs. xxx is a scrapper. As much as she'll appreciate a homemade gift because of that, you know that she'd love to get scrapping again too. Just get her a gift certificate to (our favorite local scrapbook shop)."

It's what we gave her for Christmas and she wrote a two page letter thanking Caleb profusely for it. Smile

its never too late Wink often they have to work after school is done, cleaning and the such. I would write a card and either drop it in the office or see if she's in her classroom

Michelle that is so good of your husband to remember your teacher AND what a sweet gift! I bet she'll really love it!
