fabric scrapbooking paper

I bought this paper at the scrapbook store made by Dear Lizzy. It is fabric scrapbooking paper. I wanted to tear/cut strips of it and use it on a lo but wondering if anyone has worked with this before? If so, any tips before I tear apart a $4.00 piece of paper?

I have some fabric paper by Michael Miller Designs. I remember using some of it, but it was years ago and I can't even remember what I used it on! I'm not sure the stuff I have would tear very well - it's pretty thick fabric, not like regular fabric, kwim? I know it would cut very easily though - I'm sure I did atleast that with it! I'll have to go digging in some albums to see where I used it.

I think I have to cut it with my friskas thing and then fray the edge. I was thinking of doing strips of pattern paper and then the fabric paper? I will take a pic when I am done.
