Tonight I made fathers day cards for our dads, from Nathan.
The beach one is for my dad...he loves the beach and this summer we are going on vacation with them (Nathan's first trip to the beach). So inside that card it says "Grandpa-How much do I love you? As deep as the sea...As far as the horizon...as long as it takes to count every grain of sand! Happy fathers dady. Love Nathan (your soon-to-be beach buddy)." My dad is so excited for him to come to the beach, so I thought that was a good theme. I might add some waves to make a distinction between the sea and the sky...since it looks like the sailboat is flying!
The train one is for FIL, who LOVES trains. The inside says "Grandad- I am so lucky to have you with me on this journey we call life. Love, Nathan"
Next I need to get one done for my dad from me, and quickly, since I need to mail them ASAP. FIL lives near us, so I can hand deliver those. And then there is a card for DH...oh boy...cards galore to make!
oooh I am honored someone would scraplift one of my things haha!
oh that saying was perfect for the beach card! I want to lift that too!

They are both wonderful and I love what you put on the inside.
Those are terrific! I love what you wrote inside as well. For anyone who's kids are into "diggers" I wrote this from Ryan (the boy I nanny) to his mom for mother's day:
Diggers dig deep
Cranes soar above
But you're the one
That I truly love
Could easily be used to father's day or any other card really.
The beach theme is so great! I love what you wrote and he is going to love it. I think it was a fabulous idea.
The train is so cute too. I love that you made the cards with the actual guys in mind. How sweet!
