    Default a few questions

I'm going to attempt an exploding box (thanks charys for the tutorial) but I first have some questions.....

    1. what do you ladies use to round the corners on papers or pictures?

    2. does anyone know how to put several pictures into one file so that i can print them all as on one 4x6 at cvs etc? Clarification- so that when i print a 4x6 it has 6 or so pictures. almost like a sheet of wallets etc?

    3. any suggestions on scoring tools is there any one better than the other in this category?

    4. are their any brand of punches that seem to be better than others?

    5. does anyone have the cricut design studio? (walmart just put this in their mother's day ad- it appears its a digital program that replaces having to buy all the cartridges. dh wants to buy this with the cricut when we get it)

    6. stamp cleaner is it really worth it or will some household cleaner do?

well i think that's all ladies
    thanks for the help

    I can only answer a few~

    1. what do you ladies use to round the corners on papers or pictures?
I have a small corner rounder punch I got at walmart. It was only a few dollars. The brand is EkSuccess

    2. does anyone know how to put several pictures into one file so that i can print them all as on one 4x6 at cvs etc? Clarification- so that when i print a 4x6 it has 6 or so pictures. almost like a sheet of wallets etc?
    I don't know?

    3. any suggestions on scoring tools is there any one better than the other in this category?

    4. are their any brand of punches that seem to be better than others?
I've had good luck with all of EkSuccess's punches. I haven't tried a lot of others though.

    5. does anyone have the cricut design studio? (walmart just put this in their mother's day ad- it appears its a digital program that replaces having to buy all the cartridges. dh wants to buy this with the cricut when we get it)
    I don't

    6. stamp cleaner is it really worth it or will some household cleaner do?
I use baby wipes! They work great!

    1. what do you ladies use to round the corners on papers or pictures? I bought my corner punch at walmart for just a few dollars.

    2. does anyone know how to put several pictures into one file so that i can print them all as on one 4x6 at cvs etc? I did this and it made 2 per 4x6. What photo program do you use? I use paint shop pro. I made a new plain/blank image that was 4x6. I resized the photos that I wanted printed down to 2x3 inches and then pasted two of them into one of the blank 4x6 images. When I saved it and uploaded it to the store it printed just like a normal 4x6 but there were two pictures on it. It worked well.

    3. any suggestions on scoring tools is there any one better than the other in this category? I don't know on this one. My paper trimmer has a scoring tool but I dont use it. I usually just use my bone folder for things I need to score.

    4. are their any brand of punches that seem to be better than others? I have had no problems with any I used.

    5. does anyone have the cricut design studio? nope, sorry.

    6. stamp cleaner is it really worth it or will some household cleaner do? I use baby wipes, just make sure they have NO alcohol in them.

I'm not a paper scrapper, but I read your question about fitting more than one pic on to a 4x6 and this is definately possible. Like PP person said, you just need a photo editor like Paint Shop or Photo Shop or whatever. Open a new page in the 4x6 size (just a blank white page) then insert your pictures into it. In my editor (Microsoft Digital Image Pro), you can just resize the photo you have added by dragging the corner to make smaller. It may be slightly different in other programs. This is a great way to print smaller pictures without wasting paper, etc.

    1. what do you ladies use to round the corners on papers or pictures? I bought a corner rounder punch from hobby lobby for a few dollars

    2. does anyone know how to put several pictures into one file so that i can print them all as on one 4x6 at cvs etc? Clarification- so that when i print a 4x6 it has 6 or so pictures. almost like a sheet of wallets etc? I think but I'm not sure but the kodak printers at cvs you may be able to select wallets and print what you want of each picture. I know on my computer program I can set up a page of wallets and drag and drop so I can print one page of wallets, all different pictures.

    3. any suggestions on scoring tools is there any one better than the other in this category? I bought the zision trimmer from hobbly lobby it wasn't that much and it came with a free scoring blade. Thats the only scoring tool I know of, I mean I haven't looked for another one since I have one.

    4. are their any brand of punches that seem to be better than others? I like the fiskar punches, but really they all work the same.

    5. does anyone have the cricut design studio? (walmart just put this in their mother's day ad- it appears its a digital program that replaces having to buy all the cartridges. dh wants to buy this with the cricut when we get it) The cricut design studio does not replace the cartridges, if I had design studio that means I can use what carts I already have with it. So say I only had Jasmine and walk in my garden carts, then I could only design stuff using those carts. The design studio is really neat though, like on the cursive font cart you can make it to where instead of single letters being cut out you can string them together and cut the whole word at once... check out the cricut message board and you can find projects that people have done, its so neat.

    6. stamp cleaner is it really worth it or will some household cleaner do? I use baby wipes too, some of those stamp cleaners are really stinky(fumes) and I don't like using stuff like that around my kids. I wouldn't use a regular household cleaner though, it will likely hurt your stamps over time.

Yes, this is how I do it at home too. The reason I did the 2 on one 4x6 thing is because its a lot cheaper. its .99 for 2 wallets if you do it the typical way. Its 12 cents for 2 if you do it this way. Any money saved at my house is better for us. lol.

    For #2
What I usually do resize in microsoft paint. And I usually double the size of everything, so a 4x6 I would make it 8x12 and the lets say I wanted a bunch of 2x2 pics, I would make them all 4x4 and then put them on the 8x12 square. The reason I do it so big is that it helps with the resolution when they go to print it as 4x6. But then again I use snapfish/walgreens and it just may be I need to do it weird with them.

I can only answer #6. I just wet a paper towel, place it in a small plate and after I stamp, I stamp it on the paper towel which absorbs whatever ink is left. The stamp itself is stained, but it never comes off when I use them again. KWIM?
