Finally created something ...

I made a centerpiece for our dining room table. Smile Cut a ton of butterflies with my cricut, and also glued fake flowers all over. Need to get better close up shots to share, but that will have to wait since I'm heading out of town tomorrrow.

Very cute idea! Love it!

I'm just not a centerpiece kinda gal. I keep trying to have one but then I get annoyed when I have to move it out of the way and clean around it. One day I'm gonna have a dining room and fancy centerpiece. For now I'm an eat-in kitchen with bench kind of gal.

I'm not a centerpiece girl either, and DH rolled his eyes when he saw what I was undertaking. ROFL But I really wanted to make this, and the dining room is the only place I could put it. Need to try to get a photo of it on the actual table (which we've NEVER eaten at).

Very cute. Did you glitter the butterflies or use ink? Hard to tell, but I think I see two colors on each butterfly.

Didn't mean to post and run, but I went out of town and now I'm back home. So out of it, travel took its toll this time. Just checking in on the computer for the first time. Thanks for the nice comments. I did take another photo of it, will share it soon.

I used my Cricut, and each butterfly has two layers. I used the Graphically Speaking cartridge. I used one patterned paper and one solid for each butterfly. The beauty is that I used papers from my scrap stash - that pile is huge and I'm glad I was able to use some.

Super cute. I wish I had the room to be a centerpiece girl but our dining room is always cluttered and kind of a catch all. I love how pretty and delicate this looks.
