...remember what fonts I've used on a page.
I've always been frustrated because I will use a font and then once I change the shadowing or alter it, I have no way of recalling what that font was. It makes giving credit difficult and when I have to go back and fix a font it can take me FOREVER to figure out which font a used.
TODAY, I figured out that I can add a text box to my original file to keep track of the fonts in. I just put if off the page so that when I save as a .jpg it doesn't get saved, but it does save in my original format (.png). Working so well! I'm even tracking the kit in it, etc. Sorry if some of you were more clever than me, but I'm so excited.
That's great that you figured out a trick to it. When my cousin took my computer, he lost all my fonts.

That's awesome! I always keep a notepad open for credits, and copy and paste names as I go, so I don't forget. I have all of them saved (by layout name) in a separate folder so that if something gets published, etc, I can find it easily.
That is a great idea!! I am always going back after I finish a layout trying to remember what I used and who made it. It is such a waste of time. This is much better. TFS!
