Last month Jazzy lost her dwarf hampster. His name was Phill and she had him for over a year. We all got dressed in black and had a funeral for Phill. We made him a casket Sp? and lit candles. Everyone, including grandma and grandpa went around in a circle and said what they loved about Phill. It was silly but to Jazz it meant the world. I still have to scrap the funeral pics. THis is the day she lost him She asked me to take one last picture
Hidden journaling. (The black card says ...because I never want to forget. It pulls out. )
Today I heard the words that I was always afraid of hearing. ''Mommy, I think Phill is dead!" Phill was your longest living pet and yor best friend. You were so sad when you got the courage to look and saw that you had lost him. I gave you hugs and promised you that we would give Phill the best funeral ever. You spent the next few days crying whenever you thought about him. The good thing was about a week earlier you asked if I could take some pictures of you playing with Phill. These are now your favorite pictures and I just know you will cherish them forever.
What sad pictures...but such a sweet LO. TFS

Ah, such a heart-breaking page, but I'm so inpired that you scrapped it. Those truly are the little memories that make up a life. Part of growing up. Jasmine's face nearly brought tears to my eyes.

What a great way to remember Phill, her face truly speaks as to how much she loved him.
FYI, hamsters don't live long, I think it was 1-3 years I heard.
