    Default Fiskar's Shape Cutter

    Anybody have one?
I bought one yesterday with the gift card my MIL gave me for Christmas. I was super excited to use it, and I only got to play with it for a second...but it seemed to be difficult to use and ripped the paper. I'd be upset if I used it on a picture and it ripped it So now I'm not so sure I want to keep it.

Anybody have any tips/tricks? Anyone LOVE it? HATE it?

it is difficult to use! I just say practice practice practice. You have to have the blade facing just right and you have to put just the right amount of pressure on it! I actually have gotten my dh to use it for me a lot of times because I am always scared I will rip the paper.

I told my DH that I may have to actually hold it and walk around the table to cut stuff out, KWIM? That way the blade is facing the right direction. I dunno. I'll give it a few more tries and then I'm taking it back if I still can't use it

Where would I find one like you are talking about (creative memories shape cutter)?
Can I use it with regular stencils or do you have to buy something special for it?

I hope Michael's will take this back since it's opened. I'm gonna just tell them that something's wrong with it and it's not working correctly. That's the truth!

I have one and I love it!!! I've on occasion had a ripped paper but that was because I needed a new blade, which shouldn't be your case. Hmmm....
I make sure the blade is going the direction I need and press down on the stencil so the paper dont slide and go, make sure you have your stencil facing the right way too. The work Fiskars should be facing up.
