Flourishes? Chipboard?

So I have some chipboard flourishes. I painted one metallic silver to go on a thank you card I'm making. but I need something else to go with it, and I'm a loss. I NEVER use flourishes. In addition, I have a grungeboard set that has flourishes and other stuff.

I'm looking online right now for some ideas, but I'd love to see cards/pages you've done that have used flourishes and/or chipboard (not sure if anyone has used grungeboard - Ashley did you buy some after posting about it?)

I haven't tried the grungeboard. I LOVE chipboard and flourishes! Can you scatter some buttons in some of the flourishes where they meet together? Or put a flower over the top of part of it with the flourish peeking out? Or make your words going over the top of it?

I did a search on two peas for "flourish" and it brought up some ideas. Try that. I'd link you but it's not working for some reason.

thanks, Ashley! I like the idea of the buttons. I already scalloped the bottom edge of the front of the card, and planned on doing a silver embossed "thank you" below that. so I can't use the words with the flourish. but the button idea is cool. I have so many tabs open with my different "flourish" searches, but hadn't looked on twopeas. looking now, thanks!!!!
