lately ... a lot of kids music! LOL It's certainly not my personal choice, but Caleigh loves it! She loves to dance to it. Smile

My own preference -- our extensive collection of Christian music. We have a lot of independent groups or lesser known bands that are really good.

I like pretty much any kind of music, from oldies to country (well, the pop-type country music anyway, not the really twangy "lost my wife and my dog died" kind of country music) to rap...whatever!

Mostly New Country (think Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift).

Some light rock.

And a lot of stuff on Noggin (If you have preschool age kids, you know what I mean)

I agree 100%

I have windows media playing either at work or home for music. I love soundtracks, but have everthing from old country to some slight heavy metal. I also like Christian Rock, but just have some mix cds from the library. I'll have to look for the above mentioned.

I've got Praise & Worship or Contemporary Christian music playing pretty much all day long in the house.

Right now, in my truck- Sunday Morning Songs (VeggieTales) Ruthie always says, "Mommy, I wanna hear my songs!" I can't resist hearing her sing "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands" or "My God Is So Great!" or "B.I.B.L.E." It's the sweetest sound in the whole world!

Radio- country or this oldies station that we just found. It has everything old, rock, country, it's great!

CD- Garth, hands down! Wink

There are a few Christian cd's that I listen to regularly. It's mainly a mix of the ones I know and love.

I listen to pretty much anything (including rap- even though it's not on my iPod). My iPod is SO eclectic. I really like to listen to my celtic podcasts when I'm cooking and such- but there is country (old and new school), rock, alternative, chanting (mostly Kantori or Byzantine or Benedictine monks), hymnody, classical, hard rock/heavy metal, easy listening, folk, world beat, pop, celtic. The only CC stuff on my iPod is Reliant K.

So funny. My kid's cd is "D-Day- The movie soundtrack". That cd is like a fix for my kids. They will sit SOOOOO still and fall asleep happily if I put that on in the van. They also are fond of "Frog and Toad- The Musical" "Animanics" and "Singing the Faith- the Lutheran Cathechism to music"

Pop/Top 40, but I'm not really into R&B or Rap, so the radio gets changed then. I'm starting to become a fan of a little bit of new country (Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood).

Late on the Friday question, but I'll still chime in Wink
Im a mostly Christian pop type...but my big kick is the Across the Universe movie "soundtrack" Im listening/singing to it right now Biggrin its in the computer...but its just the movie playing. Its all Beatles music, which normally I dont like the true Beatles, but I like covered Beatles. make sense?

I like most music, EXCEPT "drug music" thats my term ROFL that includes Radio head, and the such...my husbands favorite :puke: yack!! And I dont like Oldies, or rap too much.
