    Default Fridays - QOTD?

Do you think of yourself as having an accent?

I never thought of myself as having an accent but the other day I was on the phone with someone from St. Louis and she kept telling me to slow down because she couldn't understand my accent. I think of Charys as having an accent, cause I've heard her voice. I think of my grandparents having the english accent and my Uncle Bill having the thick welsh accent but I never thought of myself as having one until she said that.

I get "out of towners" at my table and bar and get told that I have an accent. They usually ask where from up north I am from but I was raised here in the good 'ol south. It's quite interesting.

No, I don't think so, but all of my relatives who do not live in Wisconsin would say YES

Nope ... I don't think I do, but I know most of you certainly have accents, and would think I have a funny accent (Canadian, eh?).
