a friend gave me

Adobe photoshop elements 5.0!! Now I just have to figure out how to use it. Anyone else using it? Pros or cons?

OOOOH that sounds like fun! Congrats! I should really get it, i am using PSP7 but it sounds like Elements is supposed to be really cool from what I have read!

Yay!! I use Photoshop CS2, but Elements is definitely a great program!

I use Photoshop Elements 4.0. I think you'll love it - it's working well for me. I think 5.0 has more features than 4.0 - not sure what, though. I want to get CS2 for photo editing - there are things I can't do in Elements - but that's more for my photography hobby, not the scrapbooking (although one affects the other, doesn't it!)...

I got it last Christmas...It's VERY user friendly....I originally got it for photo editing, but now that I'm addicted to digital scrapbooking( thanks again, Delia Wink ) I feel I'm using is SO much more..and of course, the more you use it the more you'll learn...A couple days ago I just learned how to do a "drop shawdow".. Biggrin

I recently got a copy of Photshop CS2 and I find there is a HUGH learning curve...but that could just be me.. :oops:
I find myself still using Elements over CS2.
