Getting Organised! (and I have a question)

How do you ladies store your paper? and embellishments and bits & pieces too? I have a gazillion things crammed into boxes in my craft cupboard and never know where anything is or what I have. It's probably part of the reason I rarely do anything on paper since it takes forever to find stuff and then I have to somehow cram it all back in. I'd love to see some photos of how you all organise things.

paper is the only thing I do really have organized to be honest. I have a ton of sterilite containers for everything else.

Here is my area, but like i said.. not very organized. I know where everything is so it works, but its all in drawers. I would love to have more space, but I need my space in the main family room. I hate being alone in a room by myself so this works for me.

I have a couple awesome racks designed specifically for scrapbook paper that I set on top of a couple dressers. For the small embellishments, I have containers that were made specifically for the small embellishments with different size compartments with a cover that stores paper. They hang on a mobile shelf. On the same shelf, I use 12x12 box containers that divides in half and clips together with a lid that clips on top. All of them have handles so they're easy to carry. They used to be sold at Target, but I don't know if they still sell them. The items I use most often, I've kept in a huge portable tote my DH found at a garage sale. Everything is stored in an unfinished room at the moment, so I haven't yet figured out how to design the room to be most user friendly yet organized and inviting.

I have a desk in our "breakfast area" off the kitchen that holds all my scrap stuff. I have "cropper hopper" holders on the floor for paper and scraps, and then the desk has drawers that all the extra stuff is in. I don't have a LOT of stuff, and don't buy anything until I really need it, so that helps. But organizing paper saved me TONS of time..I highly suggest you start there. GL

I have 2 of these my Dad built for me:

For storing brads I use and old spinning spice rack. Other than that I am not very organized! Hoping to work on my office/craft room this weekend, but our kitchen takes priority.

Mine isn't the most practical as they are in closed cases according to colour but I like it well enough for now Smile My embellishments, buttons, etc are in separate boxes and I put stickers in page protectors in a school binder so they are easy to flip through.
I will try to remember to take a pic of my space tomorrow. Smile

I have a whole corner dedicated to my stuff. I'll have to look for a picture later. but my paper is all in cropper hoppers (I have four of them). embellishments are in different containers/baskets on a pegboard. stickers in clear plastic accordion folders.

Some of the cropper hopper stuff looks pretty cool! never heard of them before, but they do have an australian store. I guess I need to go looking around and see what I can find. Thanks for sharing Smile
