    Default GIMP users...

    how the heck to i move a layer? I have my page with a paper on it and i think i figured out how to move my picture to it (not sure if i did it right) but how the heck do i move it around? There is now arrow or grap thingy like in photoshop....HELP!

    eta: If you know of any great GIMP tut sites, could you list them please?

    I usually work in single layers (jpgs usually), so I don't know how to help.

    I figured it out! I had also downloaded GIMPshop, to make it look more like photoshop. Well i uninstalled it and the button I was looking for re-appeared!

    sorry, I wasn't on earlier ... gimpguru is a great site!!! I have never played with GIMPshop, so I can't help you there. I still struggle with gimp and layers, I mainly use Picture It for digital scrapbooking. I use GIMP for other stuff ...
