Default Good clean fun + card

Here's the layout I just posted in the scraplift challenge

    good clean fun

But I'm putting it in a thread by itself because I did something that I've been wanting to do for a while - I used a tissue box as chipboard on the layout.

    good clean fun tissues

And here's the birthday card I made for my brother, inspired by the layout I did for the texture challenge. Angie inspired me to do the sentiment using my Cricut markers. I would have printed on my computer, but I was using a cardstock scrap, so using the Cricut was perfect.

I know I'm a little behind on replies to some of the newer threads. However, I vowed to catch up on my photography today, so I have to do that first. I promise I will be back when I'm caught up to reply to everyone.

That tissue box was perfect. I would have never guessed that it came from there and not from pp! It looks great.

I love the card! The markers worked perfectly for it. I think it is a totally different and unique look, not at all like a printer. You can really tell it is markers and not a printer, so it looks more personal to me!

Wow! How COOL is that!? I also would have never guessed that was a tissue box before. It works so well for a water page!

You are so clever! LOVE the idea of using the tissue box. Now I'll be collecting tissue boxes! Love the pics too! That card is so cute! Need to invest in some markers!

That page looks fabulous! I did a bath page recently for my friend's daughter (the one I was doing the book for) that said "squeaky clean fun" for the title. She loved it but then goes "you wouldn't have put that title if you saw what she did in the tub after" LOL!

Love that cricut marker look too! awesome How much did they cost you?

    thanks girls!

oh, and see that spot on Jack's arm? he had gotten a shot a couple of days prior (well, three shots actually, and one turned out just to be saline - I was PISSED!) and it totally had a contact bruise. Natalie had one too. I've never seen it bruise like that. I mean, we've had shot bruises, but not a little tiny instant contact bruise (it was there when I took the bandaid off 3 hours after the shot).

they're about $14 for a 4 pack. but I think you can use the mini sharpies in the Cricut instead. I need to give that a try.
