Remember how I was looking for a chair for my room? Well I got one for free! This chair was on the side of the road with a free sign! I redid the buttons which were green so I cut apart an old shirt of mine and made them pink! The chair also had fabric all the way down to the floor that was all torn on the bottom so I cut it all off leaving about an inch and folded that under and nailed it all down to expose the legs. The legs were a worn out brown color so I sanded them and painted them white! I might replace it as I get more money but hey for now it works and I like it. This weekend is the town rummage where there are over 300 rumage sales so I hope to find a scrapbooking desk! I really wanted the chair right when you walked in but it stuck out too far Do you all think it looks okay here??? be honest
You did a great job making that chair nice, the pink buttons give it a funky look which is much nicer I'm sure than the original old chair look. From what I can tell from the photo it looks fine where it is. I would love to sit in a nice bright area like that to read some scrapbooking magazines.
Oh and good luck finding a great desk at an even better price this weekend.
