A great damien update!!!!!

Great news... HE'S CRAWLING!!!!!!! We went to the dr. who told us that his cast would be off not in 8 weeks but 3 to 4 so I am so happy!!!!! I can do 4 weeks no problem. I told her he could not sleep and he kept kicking the blanket and she told me he was having muscle spasms Sad She gave him tylenol with codine to help him sleep tonight. He can get around now with the new cast and is so happy to not be tied down anymore. To make today better dh went to get the grocerys and HE is making dinner. I always make dinner so this is a treat!!! I kept saying to him okay but do it like this and med is really low on the stove so he kicked me out LOL! I cleaned out my scrapbook room the other day so I went in today to clear out the last box and guess what I found... MY CAMERA MANUAL!!!!!! It was in the shipping box the whole time! I spent 800.00 on a new camera that I got a month or so ago and have not been able to play with it cause I lost the manual right away. I am so happy that I am going to read everything, take some pics and start scrapping again. Thanks everyone for listening to me lol! Biggrin

That's awesome that he is able to get around! Bless his heart. So is the cast just below his knee? what a relief for you. Kids are so resiliant it's amazing.

Can't wait to see the pics you take with your new camera! So what kind did you buy??

that's great that he's getting around! and hooray for a cooked dinner (my DH's idea of cooking dinner is usually pancakes). and I'm glad you found the manual, because I've been wondering where your new camera pictures were. Wink

Another Yahoo for DH making dinner and another Yahoo for you finding your manual! Now get out there and take some pics!

The cast is still above the knee but he is crawling like a champ!! He slept so good last night also.
As for the camera I got the canon xsi I believe it is a 12 mexapixel. I bought it with the kit lens for now but I want to buy another lens I think a portrait one. After buying the camera, 3 yr warranty, case, memory card and fabric for a backdrop I thought I better hold off on the lens for now. The only bad thing is the driver on my computer broke when a friend tried to install new softwear on my computer so I can't put in the softwear for the camera yet Sad I tried everything that I know (which is not a lot on computers) but still nothing. Once I figure that out then I can post some pics. For now I have to use the old camera for posting things.

Me too! I found something online that ''says'' they can fix it for 29.99 which I would pay no problem but I don't know if I could trust it ya know?

Wow! Great news! I'm so glad he can get around a little and won't have to wear it long.

Hope you get your computer fixed too.

I have totally been in lurker status lately.. but i have been thinking about damien A LOT! DS and him are about the same age and I was just sick hearing about what you both had to go through!!!

whats exactly going on with your puter? DH is a big ol computer whiz, so if ya want I can ask him his opinion...

ETA: DH's first opinion is to plug in your camera and click on my computer, click on the camera...

option 2: go to canon.com and find the camera and they have drivers you can download there...
