Each year my kids preschool makes a yearbook. they assign the different events to each mom, and then that mom scrapbook the pictures the school provides. Then those pages are put them in sheet protectors and put in a binder. My 6.5 year old (former student) looks at his all the time and loves it.
Here is the page I did for their halloween party. There are no pictures because I will print this off and then add the hard copy photo I have for each kid. So this is kind of a hybrid project. There is a double mat on the vertical picture because some of the pictures are 3.5x5 and some are 4x6. So instead of making separate pages I matted it so a larger picture would cover the smaller mat, but the smaller picture wouldnt look funny with such a large mat. (make sense?)
I thought about having the candy cross the divide between the pictures, but since there is a substantial gap (they use inch binders) I thought it might look funny. Im thinking about bumping the vertical picture over to the left and making the ghost a bit bigger. Its scale seems off to me for some reason. What do you guys think?
Everything is from Kay Millers spooky sights kit.

I love the page and the yearbook idea is awesome. I am going to pass that idea to our preschool teacher. She does a Look how I've grown for each kid but it would be neat to have something like that as well. TFS
Great idea! The page looks so cute! I would do as you said though, and make the ghost a little bit bigger and it would be just perfect! TFS that neat idea with us!

I think that it looks fine the way it is
Oh my! You have done a fabulous job. You really put a lot of thought into this project. I love the kit that you finally chose. It is perfect and cute. Good job with the double matting idea. I think it will work out perfectly. The ghost looks cute, but I do think you could make it bigger. I agree that you should not cross the pages with the candy because of the gap.
That is adorable!
