    Default Hammock time (LO)

I started this LO intending to use it for the mini-challenge, but I didn't like it when I tried to "force it" into the challenge. (originally it was titled "Hammock Fun" and I had a flower with sparkles on it but I just didn't like it!) So, I just did it for fun.

All of the papers and elements are from Amy Sumrall's "A Walk in the Park" kit. I found it on ScrapOrchard.com

Adjusted as suggested... is this what you are talking about? I couldn't get the ribbons any thinner so I just made the pics bigger. What do you think?

I adore those frames! Those are cute and what a great idea to make a page out of those photos!

oh, that's really cute! was I supposed to think of "Hammer Time"? Cause I did when I saw the title (and now the song is stuck in my head).

I might be dating myself with that song though. ha ha ha ha

Can I make a suggestion though? it's a digi page, right? I'd make the pictures a little bit bigger and stretch the frames to match - I feel like there's too much frame for each picture (if that makes sense). It does look good as is, and I don't mean to imply otherwise. Just wanted to throw the suggestion out there/

I hadn't thought of that, but now the song is stuck in my head, too!

I'll give the suggestion a shot and try and post in a bit. It won't hurt anything to try, right?

Thanks a lot - now I am singing that song too!

I have that kit! Love the way you used it. I like the bigger pictures better - it balances the thickness of the frames.

I like the bigger pictures better as well - and those little lady bugs are ADORABLE .... I have a lady bug alpha freebie somewhere that would work with those (and since I have that kit, now my wheels are turning ...) ... and good job on not 'forcing' it into fitting into the challenge - I do that all the time, start a layout intending it to be one thing and it totally turns into something else.

Oh, I love it. I like the kit a lot, thanks for sharing where you got it. I just bought another really cute kit over there with ladybugs in it as well (ladybugs are our thing, BTW). The bigger pictures look great and I absolutely think the page is adorable!
