Hey FRIENDS!!! Happy New Year!!!
Wow, I've been away toooo long.
My New Year's Resolution in the Crafy end of things is to start working on Cohen's book again. Even if I have to "create" new time niches...I am going to make myself do it. And I miss you all!! I miss our craftiness-chit chat. Soooo....my goal to YOU is to help keep this board HOPPING again. Ok?! Hold me to my word!! hehe
Anyways, I've made loads of cards. So many that I've mailed and never took pics of. In between working full-time and motherhood scrapbooking has taken a very sad backseat. Sigh. But I DID remember to snap a few pics of the following random cards. Some of these are about a month old....
To explain this card, my friend (MaryAnn) got me a Gypsy for Christmas!!!! So this was her thank you card...and my first card I made with the Gypsy.....gosh I LOOOOVE it!!!!!!
And this was the Christmas card I made her. Then she made me the most adorable "second half" card that said "Flock Together". I will have to take a pic of it tomorrow and post it.
Christmas cards...Greetings from Texas
Love how much easier the Gypsy makes the layered cuts.
Since we started the "bird" thing back and forth this was the New Year's Card I made MaryAnn...
And since not ALL my cards are full of detail here are some easy ones I got pics of.....
Christmas Thank you notes
and could we be any simpler? Actually, this was using the scrap of paper from the card above. And I was going to throw away those little "thank yous" because I cut those too small, but put it all together on a card, added some bling and voila....an EASY card.
we went to something called RockBox and a restaurant with friends and this is the card i made them.
(Just a good excuse to play with my Gypsy really. haha...had to break it in ya know!)
And WOW, it's been eons since I've scrapped, but not sure I shared this double-layout? If I have, forgive me...
Yes, that is how behind I am on Cohen's book.
so what has been going on with all of you???
Cohen has been taking steps and is a little chatterbox. He is 10.5 months old and is already saying "mama", "dada", "puppy", "baba" (bottle), "bubba", etc. He is still the easiest going baby ever. I am so blessed!
Kayson started preschool and is loving it. He has been learning so much. He enjoys all things creative...I am so happy he shares in my love of art. YAY!!!
I am still working full-time at Citibank. As far as jobs go, I can't complain....it's a great job.
That was a fast re-cap. LOL
Hugs to you all and many New Year Blessings!!!
