Okay, I am not very good technology-wise and I need your help! I took my daddy booklet in to Office Depot to have them print it and I was going to mount it onto cardstock (or something similar). The lady wanted to use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to print it. Trouble is, it wasn't sizing it correctly. It wanted to make the pictures certain sizes (8X10, 5X7, etc) The letters have to be the same size or the book concept won't work. I tried to explain this to her, but she didn't seem to get it. I asked her if she could help me resize or figure it out and she said "No". Can any of you help me??? Does anyone know how I can communicate what I need or know of another place where they can print it the size it's supposed to be? Any suggestions? Help me, please!!!
BTW, if you are wondering what booklet I am talking about it's this one:
Daddy Book (pic heavy)
Thanks for any help you can give!!!
The big "y" is supposed to fit on legal sized paper. Going to look up the instructions that came with the kit again and see what she said...
No help there... just says print them on your own computer...
I'm guessing you don't have a printer at home or that you are like us and don't have any ink in your printer. What program did you use to create the book?
Okay - You are trying to print the pages as a whole - the D page, the A page, etc. right? And each letter needs to be a different size - like the Y on legal papper, the D on 8X10, etc. Is that what you are trying to do?
What program are you using? Do you have each letter in a separate file? You will probably need to go into each letter and resize it yourself. Do you know how to do that?
I would recommend going and exporting each letter as a jpeg (300 dpi or better). Then you can open up a blank page (8.5x11 or legal) in just about any program and add your jpg. Then you should just be able to click and drag everything to the right size.
You may also want to check to see if you have a local copy place that isn't a chain store (little mom and pop store). They may be able to help you much more.

Thanks ladies. Going to break down tomorrow and buy ink for our printer.
Hoping that works and I may be back if it doesn't!
