    Default Help please

Ok, tonight I am going to a Twilight themed crop at Archiver's. Yay! However, I cannot take all the stuff I usually take to the crops I've gone to in the past because of the very limited space.

I need help making some quick page kits or something that I can work on. I have pictures printed but I'm not sure how to go about making them. The crop is at 5 so I have a couple of hours that I can work on them before I need to leave. Any advice on how to do this would be great. I would really like to actually be productive.

Do you have some ziploc bags? I would just stick (well, if this were me remember...) a sheet of kraft paper in each (LOL), the pictures for that page, and a pattern that coordinates. I'd bring my basics: container of buttons, glue dots/adhesive and my trimmer. Do you need to bring your cricut, or do they have that there? Anything you don't finish, you can always add a touch here or there, or shop around in the store while you're there.

    Have fun!!

Aaagghhh! Ok Ashley, I took your idea of bagging them individually only I used empty page protectors. I grabbed some photos, found an embellishment that I wanted to put with it, and then found papers to coordinate. I have 11 "kits" made. I managed to clear out my rolling crate so I can fit my tool caddy, the album with the "kits" in it, my mat and cutters, and my buttons. I am also going to take my briefcase container that holds all my ribbon and flowers. I managed to squeeze in a bunch of extra photos to go through and sort in case I get done early (yeah, right) or I get blocked (which could very well be the case.) I really need to get stuff done and if this way of scrapping works out, then I will be a happy camper.

As far as the Cricut, I decided not to bring it because it was just another bag and I am not sure of the space and such I will need. I stayed away from any page ideas that I knew I wanted to use the Cricut for on anything except the title. I am bringing post-it notes so I can mark on my page where my title and journaling should be since I usually use the Cricut or computer for those.

    Sounds like you were organized!

How did it go? Which Archivers were you at? Maple Grove?

It was soooo much fun and I got a lot done! I won one of the trivia games and got a free album. I think the page kits are the way to go for me when I go to crops. I missed my Cricut a little but I was very happy to be productive. I'm gonna post when I get the chance but we are gonna have lunch in the park here in a bit.

Oh, and yes, I was at the Archiver's in Maple Grove. Are you familiar with the area?

I've been to Maple Grove a few times with my sister, but could never drive there alone (I'd get lost). I like to go to Babies R Us there. It's quite a ways from me, so I wouldn't do a crop there, it's probably just over an hour away from me.

Glad you had fun! Congrats on winning an album - that's pretty cool!

Great ideas you had Ashley. I've never cropped like that before so I'd be at a total loss. Glad to hear it went well for you Nancy and will be waiting for you to share.

What, you're by Maple Grove? You're talkin MN, right? That's like my favorist store ever!!!!!! I live about 2 1/2 hrs away from there, so I don't go there often, but when I do, I go nuts in there! That store is like a magnet when I head down there for work. It's a must stop along the way there and back, haha! Congrats on winning a kit! We may have to connect there sometime! Ash, you live by there as well? I never knew!

Yep, MN. I'm only about 20-30 minutes away. I love that there is an Archiver's, Michaels and JoAnns all in the vicinity. We definitely have to arrange a meetup.
